Narrative Traction

Novels Readers Can't Put Down

Do you want a reader to be pulled through your novel, on the edge of their seat, unable to put it down until they read the end? You can do that using narrative traction.

Have you ever been compelled to keep turning the pages of a book, even if it's not that good? Do you wonder why people flock to 'badly written' books? Have you ever thought, 'I just need to see what happens next, then I'll stop reading'? Then you have seen narrative traction in action.

Narrative traction is the most powerful skill a writer can have. This book will help you master it today.

Unforgettable Characters

Characters Readers Will Remember Forever

Memorable characters are even more famous than real life celebrities. Can you find anyone who doesn't know who Harry Potter is? How many characters can you name from Lord of the Rings? Have you ever met someone who doesn't know who Superman and Batman are? Wouldn't you love to write a character who is that famous?

Crafting memorably characters is a vital skill for all writers who want to have a successful writing career. This book outlines a system to help you create characters who will resonate so deeply with readers, they will never be forgotten.

Planning Your Novel

Do You Dread The Blank Page?

Do you sit down to write and struggle to find the words? Do you dread editing? Do your readers seem uninterested in turning the page? Do you know your novel has problems, but you have no idea how to fix them?

A strong synopsis can fix all of these problems before you start writing your first draft. Even if you are a die-hard pantser (writing by the seat of your pants), I guarantee if you try this method, you will never look back.

You can write a gorgeous, heart-breaking, exciting, page turner of a novel that is a breeze to edit, with characters that will resonate with readers, but first you need to buy this book!

Fiction Style Guide

Do You Want To Escape The Slush Pile?

Ask any editor working for a publishing house and they will tell you they can tell the quality of a novel from the first page. One editor even told me she can tell in the first two paragraphs. Ouch!

Its terrifying, isn't it? You might only have two paragraphs to impress an editor or literary agent. But how can they judge work so quickly? They are assessing the quality of the author's style.

What is style? How do you improve it? How can you make yours so good editors read the entire first page, the entire first chapter and then the entire novel? This style guide will coach you to success.

Author Branding

Do You Want Loyal, Enthusiastic Readers?

What is a brand? How do you create and maintain one? How do you inspire brand loyalty in fans, and keep them coming back over and over for every new novel you write? Is it possible to have fans so loyal they follow you across genres and mediums?

Do authors need a brand? The answer is yes! They really do. When you are an author, your name (or pen name!) is your brand. How your readers perceive you and your books is critical to your long-term success and fostering a loyal, eager fan base.

This book will outline for you a success plan to build and keep your readers and develop your brand into a household name.

Just Be Happy

Is It Possible For You To Be Happy?

Studies show that humans are very bad at predicting what will make them happy. Consistently, we focus on the wrong things, leading ourselves down a path of frustration, heartbreak and exhaustion. We work so hard to achieve the things we think will make us feel better and time and time again, we are let down.

In this book, I share with you tools to understand why you're unhappy now, what will make you genuinely happy in the future and how to change your life for the better. It's time to just be happy.

Car-sized fruit grows from roots that slither out of the NYC sewer, blocking traffic and luring out hoards of sickened rats. It's all in a day's work for Key Ryans, but things get dramatically out of hand when a Wasp shows up, spreading insanity and devastation in its wake. In a split second decision, Key shoots a civilian to spare him the agony of being eaten alive, but the resulting PR nightmare costs her her job. The Bandershin

Demon Lovers: Succubi

TSeductress, demon, or cursed being, the succubus wears many guises in this exciting new short story collection. Some of these tales are spicy and contain adult content, but this is not a collection of erotica. Rather, Demon Lovers: Succubi looks at the nature of the succubus and what it means to live by preying on humans, or to be the mortal a succubus has set her sights on.

Including Jake Corvus' Story 'Blood and Bone' as Talitha Kalago.

Category 5

In 2011 Category 5 tropical cyclone ‘Yasi’ ripped across far North Queensland, destroying homes and leaving thousands without power and water, cut off by washed out roads and deadly fallen powerlines. These are the tales born—not of the cyclone—but of the fevered imaginations of writers; isolated, unwashed and suffering in the tropical heat without our beloved air-conditioning.

Including Jake Corvus' Story 'The Bandershin' and the poem 'White' as Talitha Kalago.
